About the Role

The City of Gosnells is seeking a skilled and experienced Audio and Lighting Technician to join our Leisure and Culture Branch on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for a variety of events and productions at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for audio, lighting, and staging requirements for events and productions
  • Operate and maintain technical equipment, including sound and lighting systems
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth execution of events and productions
  • Assist with setup and strike of technical equipment
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience working in a technical production environment
  • Strong knowledge of audio and lighting systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
