Caregiver Role in Hervey Bay

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This position offers a flexible and balanced work life, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in your community.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for providing personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication administration.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with domestic tasks such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Offering social support and transportation services for daily activities
- Helping customers use aids and equipment, such as wheelchairs and hearing aids
- Maintaining customer well-being and reporting progress to supervisors
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training sessions

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
- Current Federal Police Check, Yellow Card, and Blue Card
- Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle insurance
- Smartphone with internet access
