We are seeking a skilled Station Mechanic to join our team at Helen Springs Station, NT. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and industry-leading agribusiness.

About the Property
Helen Springs Station, located in the Barkly Tablelands in the Northern Territory, spans an impressive 5,600km2 and serves as a breeding property for up to 27,000 head of cattle. The station complex includes a swimming pool and social club, and the nearby town of Tennant Creek offers a range of amenities.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the maintenance program for all station vehicles, plant, and machinery
- Implement the maintenance program and carry out repairs as required
- Undertake regular services according to the maintenance schedule
- Carry out repairs and overhauls as required
- Procure and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain an efficient and safe workshop
- Manage the spare parts inventory
Requirements
- Trade qualification as a mechanic or equivalent
- Driver's licence (class C)
- Experience working as a mechanic in a similar environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to read and interpret workplace-related documentation
- Sound written and spoken communication skills
- Sound organisational and problem-solving skills
- A genuine passion for agriculture
