About the Role

Evolve Talent is seeking an experienced Service Operations Dispatcher to join our client's highly skilled team. The successful applicant will be responsible for daily customer service planning and execution on quality and on-time maintenance plans, and long-term maintenance forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily service planning and execution to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Ensure daily work allocation to Service Technicians is properly and fairly distributed to the team.
  • Address customer problems promptly and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Manage the complete operations of allocated sites, workshops, and machines.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met in terms of utilization, efficiency, overheads, and costs.
  • Exercise safety protocols at all times.
  • Train staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Produce reports as required for the job and by the customer.
  • Make recommendations for special tools and equipment to support products.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in a heavy-machinery maintenance environment, preferably within the maritime industry.
  • Service dispatch background in Mobile Equipment and coordinating technicians.
  • Ability to plan efficient service execution competencies.
  • Formal qualification in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related area.
  • Excellent customer communication, empathic, structured, service-minded, and customer-oriented skills.
  • Relationship building, team player, and leadership skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Sound communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to deal with all stakeholders in the business).
  • Basic SAP experience is preferred.
