**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring that the department is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the department, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and stock replenishment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other department managers and store leadership to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and training to sales associates to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
