Animal Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in training and developing canines for various disciplines, including tracking, obedience, detection, and bite training.

This role involves:

  • Providing daily care of canines kenneled at the RAAF Security and Fire School
  • Training and development of canines from birth to graduation
  • Managing records, data capture, and performance monitoring
  • Performing decoy work using a bite suit and hidden sleeve during bite training exercises

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong understanding of canine behavior and training principles.

About Our Team

We work collaboratively with ADF trainers and contracted staff to meet Military Working Dog course requirements.
