Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for performing various machining tasks, including stripping and assessing pumps, general machining and fabrication of parts, and installation and commissioning of pumps.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. You will work as part of a team with a primary focus on safe work practices in all daily tasks, whether that be in field maintenance, the workshop or branch environment.

Responsibilities
  • Stripping and Assessing Pumps: Inspect and strip pumps to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • General Machining and Fabrication: Perform general machining and fabrication of parts to meet customer requirements.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission pumps to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Requirements
  • Engineering Qualification: Possess an engineering qualification in fitting or machining.
  • Safety Practices: Demonstrate safe practices in all aspects of your work.
