Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Architect to design and implement business and IT systems within our infrastructure and telecommunications domains.

This role involves contributing significantly to the efficient and secure delivery of electricity to consumers, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the IT architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision
  • Collaborate with senior executives, IT leaders, and business units to understand strategic priorities within the energy and network domain
  • Design and maintain the enterprise IT architecture within the infrastructure, telecommunications, and OT networking domain
  • Establish, promote, and uphold architectural standards, policies, and best practices
  • Optimise resources/cost within the infrastructure and telecommunications domain and cross domains
  • Work closely with business units, operations, and engineering teams to understand their requirements
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (master's degree preferred)
  • Extensive experience in IT architecture, including hands-on design and implementation
  • Extensive experience with Operational Technology (OT) networking, including protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 61850
  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols used in industrial environments
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
About the Role

This is a full-time position based in Southbank Fresh Water Place, with a 3/2 Hybrid split (Office/WFH).
