About the Role

The Strategic Lead, Programs & Community will lead a high-performing team of managers who ensure the successful delivery of high-performing programs across seven locations. Our core services include specialist domestic and family violence, individual, family and group support, youth prevention & intervention services, and crisis support and response.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team of managers to deliver high-performing programs
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities to achieve access and impact
  • Build partnerships and secure funding to support program delivery
  • Manage budgets and oversee program development and staff management
  • Develop and maintain a strong organisational culture
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services or related field or 10+ years managing staff and programs within the community sector
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in community services or program management, including 5 years in a leadership role/s
  • Proven experience in program development, staff management, and budget oversight
  • Demonstrated success in building partnerships and securing funding
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Financial acumen and experience with complex budget management
  • Knowledge of best practices in community program development and management
  • Current Queensland 'C' class drivers' licence
  • Blue Card 'No Card No Work'
