Role Overview

In the capacity of Electrical Planner, you will benefit from an established Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that will enable you to start effectively. You will collaborate with a skilled maintenance and engineering team.

Your excellent communication abilities and capacity to perform under pressure will align well with this dynamic setting. Moreover, your mindset that no task is too minor, eagerness to acquire new competencies, and capability to lead by example will integrate seamlessly into our team.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Electrical and Automation Manager, your primary duties will encompass:

  • Creating and sustaining comprehensive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems and apparatus.
  • Organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling weekly preventive maintenance tasks, monthly shutdowns, and project assignments across the facility using your outstanding organizational capabilities.
  • Overseeing, assigning, and coordinating tasks to electrical contractors, ensuring that work is conducted safely.
  • Maintaining effective communication with production staff daily to ensure the safe and efficient upkeep of electrical systems and apparatus.
  • Assisting in the management of electrical equipment spare parts and repairs.
  • Exemplifying your commitment to Health & Safety protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Electrical trade qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in the pulp & paper sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with a 24/7 multi-process/heavy industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to tackle challenges.
  • Technologically adept and proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • A practical, hands-on approach
