About the Position:

We are looking for a freight handling professional to join our team. This role involves manual handling of goods, operating a forklift (LF license required), and using computer systems to update and resolve freight enquiries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out tasks related to freight handling including scanning, sorting, and locating goods.
  • Operate a forklift safely to support daily activities.
  • Use systems such as Salesforce and internal tools to update and resolve enquiries accurately and on time.
  • Assist with depot-based investigations, including damaged, unidentified, redirected, or delayed goods.
  • Support customer collections and ensure issues are resolved quickly to meet service expectations.
  • Acknowledge actions taken in systems and provide updates on progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective monitoring and actioning of enquiries to ensure timely resolution within service level agreements.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at reducing rework and preventing recurring issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift LF license (or readiness to obtain prior to commencement).
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual handling of goods.
  • Proficiency in basic computer use, including data entry and transport/logistics systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Capacity to thrive in a busy operational environment and resolve problems efficiently.
