About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to provide expert legal support to our claims teams. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in optimising results in areas associated with litigation and driving key strategies throughout the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing formal and informal advice on liability decisions and litigated matters
  • Managing in-house litigation effectively and in line with processes and procedures
  • Representing the company in legal proceedings when necessary
  • Captaining training sessions for team members on liability and litigation
  • Supporting team members in communicating contentious decisions with stakeholders
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, with prior experience in a similar role being desirable
  • A minimum of 3 years post-admission experience
  • A current NSW Practising Certificate
  • Excellent communication skills, combined with strong commercial acumen
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with high organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to appear confidently in Court
  • Demonstrated behaviours aligned to our company values and culture
