Job Description

This is a 6-month fixed-term full-time position, with possible extension and/or permanency.

The successful applicant will lead the maintenance and presentation of the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean, and tidy condition.

This involves:

  • Maintaining and presenting the school grounds and gardens
  • Providing a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management
  • Performing minor repairs and maintenance as requested
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining grounds and gardens, including turf management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of gardening methods and procedures, including the safe use and storage of gardening equipment, materials, and chemicals
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and supervising staff
