LPN Home Health Job

The role of the LPN in home health care involves providing medical services to patients in their own homes. This position requires a high level of skill and knowledge in areas such as wound care, medication management, and patient education.

  • Wound care: The LPN will assess and treat wounds on patients' bodies, using techniques such as dressing changes and debridement.
  • Medication management: The LPN will administer medications to patients as prescribed by their physicians, and monitor for any side effects or interactions.
  • Patient education: The LPN will educate patients and their caregivers on proper self-care techniques, including wound care, medication management, and other areas.

Requirements:

  • One year of clinical experience as an LPN.
  • Current LPN license in the state where the work is being done.
  • CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
