Operations Data Analyst Position
We are seeking an Operations Data Analyst to join our operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with various trading desks and business areas to aggregate and analyze trading data, identify trade breaks, and improve efficiency.
The role is designed to prepare candidates for a full-time Operations Analyst position. Throughout the program, you will rotate across different teams to deepen your understanding of the firm's operations and develop company-specific knowledge and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aggregate and analyze trading data to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Work closely with trading desks and business areas to resolve trade breaks and other operational issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access
- Experience with VBA or SQL preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
