Quality Assurance Engineer Role

This is a 12-month contract with the potential to extend. The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding quality assurance best practices within an Engineering and Infrastructure Team.

The role involves supporting the implementation of a Test Governance Framework, developing guidelines, and delivering high-quality testing outcomes across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the QA Manager in researching, configuring, and implementing QA strategies, systems, and processes.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases across functional, non-functional, and exploratory testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate QA into project timelines, ensuring adherence to deliverable schedules without compromising quality.
  • Communicate findings and provide recommendations to enhance application reliability.
About You
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within software development.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, and Postman.
  • Hands-on experience in automating test scripts and implementing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined testing processes.
Requirements
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to problem solve and design and implement innovative testing solutions tailored to complex systems.
  • Extensive understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies to align QA processes with iterative development cycles.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to integrate QA best practices throughout.

Preferred candidates will have knowledge of the superannuation industry, QA/testing certifications, or experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
