Job Overview

As a Legal Counsel, you will be joining a leading insurance company as a key member of the legal team. Your primary focus will be on providing expert legal advice and support to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on insurance law and regulatory matters.
  • Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support projects and operational initiatives with sound legal input.
  • Collaborate across the legal team and business to drive commercial success.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years PQE with current practising certificate and relevant legal qualifications.
  • Strong experience in insurance law, particularly general insurance regulation.
  • Excellent legal drafting, advisory, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and commercial approach.
