Key Responsibilities
The Environmental Officer will be responsible for:

  • Delivering expert environmental guidance related to the execution of environmental evaluations, regulatory compliance, and management throughout all stages of project development.
  • Conducting thorough environmental assessments, crafting environmental management strategies, and preparing contract specifications, as well as coordinating audits and engaging external resources.
  • Utilizing innovative thinking and initiative to explore, analyze, and propose potential solutions to achieve design goals.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders on issues pertaining to infrastructure development within your area of responsibility.
  • Identifying potential challenges and negotiating necessary adjustments to design specifications.
  • Offering strategic direction on project activities and serving as a principal advisor to project management teams concerning environmental matters.

Qualifications
A degree from an accredited institution in environmental science, environmental management, environmental planning, resource management, environmental engineering, or a related field is essential for this position.
