Instructional Program Lead


About the Role:">This is a Permanent Part-Time position.">

The Instructional Program Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an education program that promotes children's well-being, development and learning.

  • Develop and implement educational programs and assessments with the support of Assistant Coordinators/Coordinators.
  • Ensure children's learning and development informs the design of the educational program, and Educators facilitate and extend each child's learning and development.
  • Liaise effectively with parents, staff and all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support educators understanding of the educational program and practice including how to reflect on the effectiveness of their programs, interactions, intentional teaching and other strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with policy.
  • Undertake administrative requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the school community.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

">
  • A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • Sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of the approved learning framework.
  • The ability to coach and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of child development, attachment, learning.
  • An understanding of evidence-based best practice approaches to teaching and learning.
  • Working knowledge of leadership theory and the use of a range of leadership styles.
  • Critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyse and challenge conventional practice and ideas.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • A Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
