Job Role Summary

The Finance Officer position is a critical role that provides high-level support and advice to meet the needs of a rural clinical school.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing, preparing, and processing complex financial transactions in high volumes
  • Supporting vendor management and financial processes at the organization level

Applicants will require relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competency, substantial administrative experience in accounting-related roles, and proficiency in various computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, and email.

Highly developed analytical and numeracy skills are essential, as is demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting practices and integrated systems.

A National Police Clearance Certificate and Financial Background Checks are also necessary for this position.
