Family Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a Family Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable firm, handling a variety of cases including divorce, separation, children's matters, property settlements, and financial agreements.

About the Role

  • Reporting to the Principal, you will take full ownership of your own cases and clients, relishing the challenge and rewards of this pivotal role.
  • Key areas of focus include divorce, separation, children's matters, property settlements, financial agreements, and domestic violence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years post-admission experience in family law, including property and children's matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of family law legislation and court practice/procedures in the Family/Children's/Federal Circuit courts.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills with high attention to detail.
  • Highly adaptable, client-centric, deadline-driven, proactive, and results-focused.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills, with a passion for family law.
