Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Flight Catering team at Perth Airport on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and delivering exceptional airline food quality standards across all classes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and deliver world-class airline food quality standards.
  • Oversee department planning, budgeting, and execution activities to ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Coordinate labour, resources, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient execution of operational plans.
  • Manage all aspects of food catering, including meal presentations, charter catering, menu changes, audits, and minimizing waste management costs.
  • Focus on continuous efficiency and productivity improvement.
  • Motivate, mentor, and develop the Kitchen team.
  • Adhere to company HACCP and WHS policies.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified with experience minimum to Sous Chef Level or higher.
  • Exposure to large or bulk catering facilities in manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP / Food Safety / WHS and QA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time and interpersonal management skills.
  • Experience in managing a large cross-functional team.
