Roles & Responsibilities: Our client is one of Australia's leading Allied Health Companies. With studios' across Australia, they are able to provide superior service and treatment options with full multi-disciplinary teams. They are looking for a Speech Pathologist to handle a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams. With a strong NDIS and disability focus, this will be a challenging and rewarding role for the right person, expanding their knowledge and skill set in their area of interest. As a Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for:
- Assessment and diagnosis of communication disorders
- Design, trial and implementation of low and high tech communication devices
- Develop, implement, monitor and review treatment plans
- Assessment and management of swallowing difficulties
- Coordinating with other allied health professionals and GP's
- Provide education to clients, families, the community and other practitioners/staff
- Weekly & fortnightly internal Speech Pathology networking and professional development sessions within both speech and multidisciplinary teams
- Ongoing supervision and mentoring tailored to the needs of each individual clinician
- Quarterly full day internal workshops
- Individual Professional Development fund
- A fun, successful team of over 20 Speech Pathologists to collaborate with, learn from and be supported by
- Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- University Qualified Speech Pathologist
- Current Practising Member of SPA
