Job Description

This role is an opportunity to work in a permanent full-time position within the Major Projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile items of plant and attachments, assisting the Construction Coordinator and Assistant Works Supervisors in achieving a safe and well-organized project/activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in construction or maintenance environments operating backhoes and various items of plant such as trucks, rollers, tractors, and small plant.
  • Ability to undertake physical laboring tasks associated with council maintenance and construction activities.
  • Willingsness to complete recognized training opportunities.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills together with sound literacy and numeracy skills.
