Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students in Kindergarten to Year 12. They will be required to demonstrate high-level organisational, networking, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to anticipate the needs of the School organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics to students in Kindergarten to Year 12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, with the ability to teach Senior Physics and Middle Years Science
  • Registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Demonstrated high level organisational, networking and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills, who has the ability to engage and inspire
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Benefits

This is a full-time permanent position commencing in January 2025, offering a competitive salary package of $85,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include access to Employer Superannuation Contributions, staff concession on fees for children attending the school, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
