HOP School Room Supervisor

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Lewisham to support the appointment of a HOP School Room Supervisor, on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Rate of Pay: £29.15 per hour

Hours Per Week: 25.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • To enhance the educational outcomes of inpatients attending the School Room using online teaching programs
  • To lead education planning in the School Room, providing specialist support to professionals
  • To offer early intervention specialist support for young people out of school and admitted to UHL for medical reasons
  • To monitor and audit educational achievement of School Room attendees
  • To provide advice on education of School Room attendees to Virtual school staff and partner agencies

Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teacher Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent numeracy/literacy skills - equivalent to NVQ Level 2
  • Experience working with children of relevant age in a learning environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills, including ICT skills

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
