Storehouse Operative

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our team. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within the food industry, with excellent communication and task management skills.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Loading and unloading vehicles while ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Conducting regular product inspections to ensure damage-free products and maintaining first-in-first-out (FIFO) practices.
• Packing orders for customers and production staff efficiently.
• Contributing to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
• Participating in stocktaking activities to guarantee accuracy.
• Ensuring picking accuracy and implementing FEFO practices.
• Adhering to storage requirements, including temperature and allergen storage.
• Tracking batch and production information accurately in the warehouse.
• Coordinating cleaning activities in the warehouse and associated areas.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry.
• Current Forklift License and valid Driver's License.
• Pallet Jack experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Food Hygiene guidelines.
• Excellent communication and task management skills.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical checks.
