Automotive Technician

PrixCar Services is a leading automotive logistics company that specializes in vehicle transport, processing, and storage. With over 35 years of experience, we have established a strong presence in Australia with over 25 depots across the country.
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting and validating the suitability and compliance of vehicles to customer and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform pre-delivery inspections in accordance with set instructions and standards
- Conduct light servicing and repairs of passenger vehicles, focusing on brand new light vehicles only
- Fit out vehicles with customizations as per plan and/or instructed
- Ensure safe maneuvering of vehicles within the compound and workshop
- Perform quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed tasks
- Maintain accurate records and submit them on time
- Previous experience in the automotive trade and quality systems
- Manual driver's license
- General automotive diagnostic and accessory fitment experience
- Experience in servicing all makes and models
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Diagnostic problem-solving ability
- Mechanical trade qualification (or part thereof) preferred but not necessary
- Team leader experience an advantage
- Dealership servicing experience
- Full-time permanent position with a Monday to Friday roster (no weekends)
