
Structural Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Own structural engineering work packages for production site design and development, focusing on integrated high-rise facilities:
- Design elements of multidisciplinary, multistory projects for new construction and modifications to existing structures, encompassing all phases of project development from conceptual feasibility studies through construction completion.
- Perform standard and complex structural engineering analyses, designs, and calculations using established methodology and principles, as well as viable alternative approaches.
- Conduct building-level structural analysis and design for large steel and reinforced concrete buildings, including shallow and deep foundations, with the ability to iterate at the conceptual level to drive rapid project development.
- Develop detailed structural design drawings, calculations, and design summary presentations.
- Estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs for construction projects.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines.
- Manage project control tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
- Coordinate multi-discipline design and construction projects, including coordination of typical systems found in high-rise buildings (MEP, HVAC, etc).
- Interact with other engineers, contractors, fabricators, and stakeholders.
- Provide direct onsite field observations and resolve field conflicts in real-time.
- Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Maintain the construction schedule, identify, and solve problems.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and employees.
- Engage with vendors to expand our pool of qualified contractors capable of executing high-rise projects.
- Supervise completion of the final punch list.
- Promote job-site safety as a top priority, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job-site hazards immediately.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policy among employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with tradesmen, contractors, and building officials to coordinate maintenance, repair, and installation of facilities support equipment.
- Communicate updates to budgetary, drawings, and design requirements to management and engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the design or build of structural infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to perform hands-on work in various environments (heat, cold, rain), in tight quarters or at heights.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Capacity to focus while working in hazardous conditions and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
