About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Strategist to join our team at Novotel. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategies and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably with a global hotel chain.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, statutory responsibilities, and tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software, with experience in TimeTarget, WageEASY, PurchasePlus, and Sun a plus.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
