The Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's development and expansion, providing governance and oversight in the management of livestock assets and processing capabilities. They will have an extensive executive career and demonstrated experience working in Northern Cattle production systems and/or meat processing and related value chains.
Key Requirements
- Strategic thinking and understanding of markets, operational issues, technology, and regulatory concerns.
- Proven commercial and financial acumen, applied to comparable agricultural enterprises of scale and complexity.
- Knowledge of investment management, including integrated operations, governance, ESG, and risk.
- Experience in managing the Australian political sphere around the agricultural sector.
- Previous Board experience is highly regarded.
