
Expert Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Lead

We are seeking a clinical expert to lead our perinatal mental health services and coordinate patient-centred care.
About the Role- This role involves providing clinical leadership, advice, and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team.
- The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and provide expert guidance in perinatal mental health.
The Clinical Lead will be responsible for facilitating ongoing professional development and creating an environment that encourages lifelong learning and support for colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive knowledge of contemporary nursing practice within Perinatal Mental Health.
- Participate directly or indirectly in the delivery of clinical care to individuals/groups within Perinatal Mental Health.
- Facilitate professional development and create an environment that encourages learning and support.
- Apply high-level management skills, including analytical and problem-solving skills, and engage in change management.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while contributing to a positive clinical environment.
- Apply relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards in relation to Perinatal Mental Health consultancy.
- Utilise data and information to ensure service safety and standardise service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mandatory possession of a nursing qualification from a registered tertiary institution or completion of an approved hospital training program as a Registered Nurse and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practising certificate is essential.
- Possession of context-specific postgraduate qualification in nursing is highly desirable.
