Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Recycling Sorter to join our team at Lucas Heights centre. As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting of recyclables from a fast-moving conveyor line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort recyclables from a conveyor line in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Clean working areas and outside spaces
  • Audit waste as required by Local Council Representatives and clients, and provide accurate reporting on time
  • Perform maintenance and safety checks on equipment as needed
  • Review existing procedures for continuous improvement and safety
  • Complete records and paperwork accurately as directed

Requirements:

  • Good work ethic and understanding of the importance of punctuality
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks
  • Commitment to safety
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
