Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerial Operations Specialist to fill our key role.

About the Role

  • Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) missions, ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Support the development of Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations and contribute to the growth of our aerial services business.
  • Conduct thorough mission planning, including weather assessment, airspace coordination, and risk management.
  • Execute Visual Line of Sight (VLOS), Extended Visual Line of Sight (EVLOS), and BVLOS flights, maintaining a high level of situational awareness and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Perform basic maintenance and field repairs on RPAS, with training provided as necessary.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality data products.
  • Collaborate with our data processing team to ensure seamless integration of data collection and analysis.

Requirements

  • Current Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) issued by the relevant aviation authority.
  • Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) or equivalent certification.
  • Certificate of Proficiency in Instrument Flying (CPIF) or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of RPAS systems, aerodynamics, and flight dynamics.
  • Ability to travel extensively for extended periods.
  • Experience in complex, industrial, or remote locations, including mining, energy, or surveying environments.
  • Knowledge of photogrammetry, LiDAR, or other remote sensing technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
