Job Title: Store Cleaner

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our Proactive Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that trolleys are available for our customers to use and that our stores are in pristine condition.

This includes sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins. You will also be responsible for collecting trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas, working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs, and assisting customers by answering questions or providing directions.

To be successful in this role, you will need physical fitness due to the physically demanding tasks involved, as well as the ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs. Flexibility is essential, with availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.

Due to the ongoing nature of this job posting, it will be treated like a temporary position. However, if performance goes above expectations, there may be opportunities for permanent roles.

  • The Role:
    • Responsible for the cleaning of the store including but not limited to: floors, walls, restrooms, windows, doors, fixtures, inventory, display cases, carts and other items within the store premises
    • Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures
    • Perform additional responsibilities as required by management
