About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team in Townsville. As a Counsellor, you will provide one-to-one counselling and therapy to individuals, couples and children, working with those affected by family relationship issues and their immediate family.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, responsive and culturally appropriate counselling services to clients.
  • Strengthen family relationships, prevent breakdown and ensure children's wellbeing through evidence-based interventions.
  • Help clients identify and work towards individual and family goals, ensuring interventions are client-centred and in line with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology.
  • Membership or eligibility to register with AASW, AHPRA, ACA or other governing body.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children, young people, adults and families.
  • Demonstrated competence in evidence-based counselling and group work.

What We Offer
