The Role of the BOS Asset Team

The team's primary focus is on applying asset management strategies and delivering maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner. This involves working closely with other teams to ensure the successful execution of tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: The team is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of ovens.
  • Inspection: Regular inspections are conducted to identify any wear and tear or potential issues with related machinery.
  • Safety Compliance: All work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: The team works closely with other trades and team members to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
  • Problem-Solving: Mechanical issues are diagnosed and troubleshot to prevent disruptions in the production process.

Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification (Fabrication)
  • Recent work experience as a Boilermaker
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable but not essential)
