Financial Project Coordinator Role

Job Overview

We seek a skilled Financial Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team, supporting a major road infrastructure project in Melbourne.

  • Apply financial cost coding structure for all costs incurred ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage accrual process and prepare journal for project accruals and adjustments.
  • Submit progress claims and assist in preparation of tax invoices to clients.
  • Provide detailed reports on forecasts, budget, and cash flow by specified deadlines.
  • Ensure robust financial reporting across the project delivery team.
  • Manage project accounts effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records and reports of project financial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Develop effective accounting systems and processes.

• Provide expert advice on financial matters.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in project accounting or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
