Job SummaryThis role offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and customer-facing responsibilities, driving both exceptional network performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Network Testing and Validation: Conduct lab testing using device log tools (e.g., XCAL) and Nokia-specific tools to ensure compliance with customer expectations and industry standards.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level technical support for complex RAN-related issues, troubleshoot and resolve network faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance.
- RAN Deployment and Integration: Execute the deployment of 4G/5G RAN technologies, including eNodeB/gNodeB configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Customer Engagement and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with customers to understand their network requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
- Software Upgrades and Maintenance: Coordinate and execute software upgrades on RAN nodes, ensuring compatibility and minimal impact on network performance.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate documentation of RAN configurations, upgrades, and issues, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Core, Transmission, and OSS teams, to ensure end-to-end network performance and alignment of objectives.
- Strong understanding of LTE and 5G NR protocols call flows, as well as IP & Transport.
- Hands-on experience with Nokia RAN products such as AirScale, MantaRay NM, UTF, and DCAP.
- Hands-on experience with MantaRay NetAct applications for configuration management and software upgrades.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
