In our role as Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertly assessing life claims in accordance with TAL's claims philosophy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of claims independently, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes for customers.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to deliver timely results, providing empathetic support during challenging times.
  • Assess, analyze, and finalize claims payments, ensuring complete accuracy and transparency.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, including claims management, communication, and inquiries.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless claims management and high-quality outcomes.
  • Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instruct third-party service providers as needed.

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position involving income protection, life, lump sum, trauma, critical illness, injury, TPD, or death claims.
  • Retail, Group, or Direct claims case management experience is highly desired.
  • Able to build strong rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times.
  • Passionate and driven, with a natural willingness to continue learning and growing.
