Experienced Claims Specialist

In our role as Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertly assessing life claims in accordance with TAL's claims philosophy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of claims independently, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes for customers.
- Engage with key stakeholders to deliver timely results, providing empathetic support during challenging times.
- Assess, analyze, and finalize claims payments, ensuring complete accuracy and transparency.
- Provide outstanding customer service, including claims management, communication, and inquiries.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless claims management and high-quality outcomes.
- Participate in case conferences, peer case discussions, and instruct third-party service providers as needed.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position involving income protection, life, lump sum, trauma, critical illness, injury, TPD, or death claims.
- Retail, Group, or Direct claims case management experience is highly desired.
- Able to build strong rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times.
- Passionate and driven, with a natural willingness to continue learning and growing.
