We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Caregiver Assistant Trainee, providing essential support to individuals in need. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the healthcare industry while developing valuable skills in caregiving and support work.

This traineeship offers the chance to assist individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being. You will be placed with one of our Host Employers, working under the supervision of experienced professionals to learn essential skills and gain hands-on experience.

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting dignity and respect for each client.
• Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes independence, empathy, and understanding.
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients, building strong relationships and trust.
• Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel, ensuring timely intervention and support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring comprehensive and effective support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.

• Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card, meeting industry standards for working with vulnerable populations.
• Applicants must be able to provide documentation of vaccinations, including those related to Flu/Covid-19 if required, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
