About the RoleThis traineeship offers the chance to assist individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance overall well-being. You will be placed with one of our Host Employers, working under the supervision of experienced professionals to learn essential skills and gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting dignity and respect for each client.
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes independence, empathy, and understanding.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients, building strong relationships and trust.
- Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel, ensuring timely intervention and support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring comprehensive and effective support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to client care, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.

- Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card, meeting industry standards for working with vulnerable populations.
- Applicants must be able to provide documentation of vaccinations, including those related to Flu/Covid-19 if required, prioritizing client safety and well-being.
