Role Description:The Research Assistant will provide support to the research team and director across various research activities and projects at the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in the alcohol and other drugs field, supporting NCETA's mission to reduce related harms through research, prevention, treatment, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Assist with the preparation of ethics applications and research materials
  • Collect and analyze data
  • Liaise with research participants
  • Contribute to grant applications
  • Support the development of research outputs such as reports, publications, and presentations

Requirements:
  • Well-developed writing and communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience working on research projects in public health
  • Completion of a degree in psychology, medicine, public health, health science or related behavioral science
  • Proficiency in NVivo or another qualitative data analysis program
