Job Title: In-House Legal Expert

We are seeking an experienced In-House Legal Expert to lead our legal team and provide corporate, commercial, and technology law advice.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing insurance and leasing arrangements from a legal perspective, negotiating major deals, and managing litigation for the company.

You will also train personnel on legal risks and supervise senior legal professionals, as well as lead and manage the legal team through regular coaching and performance development conversations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide practical and pragmatic corporate, commercial, and technology law advice
  • Manage insurance and leasing arrangements from a legal perspective
  • Negotiate major deals and manage litigation for the company
  • Train personnel on legal risks and supervise senior legal professionals
  • Lead and manage the legal team through regular coaching and performance development conversations
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Requirements:
  • Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in NSW (circa 10+ years PQE)
  • Experience as General Counsel, Senior In-house Lawyer, or commercially focused Senior Associate from a highly regarded law firm
  • Desirable experience in an in-house ICT or sales-focused environment
