Network Operations Centre Manager Job Description

The Network Operations Centre (NOC) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network. As a NOC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the NOC, ensuring that all operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the NOC team
  • Oversee the coordination, management, monitoring, and performance of the NOC
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including Executives, technicians, and customers
  • Manage incident resolution and perform tier-2 and 3 escalation support
  • Communicate network security, health, and status to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of network deployment and infrastructure
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to apply automation and continuous improvement practices
  • High-level customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to staff as required to ensure seamless operation of the NOC
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
