Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Repair Complex Issues
Diagnose and complete complex repairs to engines at the customer's site, utilizing your technical expertise and knowledge of engine systems.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on engine and related components in the field, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Escalate Issues and Provide Support
Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Document and Record Work
Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Identify Additional Service Opportunities
Identify additional service opportunities with customers, providing recommendations for maintenance and repair services to enhance their operations.
- Maintain Service Vehicle and Tools
Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements- Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
Australian recognized Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle) is required for this role.
- Technical Experience and Knowledge
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians is preferred, as well as knowledge of engine rebuild and reconditioning.
- Industry-Specific Experience
Cummins, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience is highly desirable, as well as significant field service work experience.
- Locally Valid Driving Permit
A locally valid driving permit is required for this role.
