About the Role

The HSEQ Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of health, safety, environmental, and quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a proactive safety culture throughout AtkinsRéalis' operations in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and support project leaders and senior management in understanding and implementing HSEQ requirements comprehensively.
  • Manage and enhance in-house HSEQ systems.
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of the Global HSE Management System (GHSEMS) and BlueBook standards.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits for projects and office environments, supporting the business to address findings and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure ongoing accreditation to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the company's values, promoting best practices in HSE.

Requirements

  • Demonstratable experience in identifying business HSEQ system needs and architecture.
  • Experience developing and implementing HSEQ systems.
  • Understanding of office HSEQ requirements.
  • Applied knowledge of QHSE Management Systems and quality tools.
  • A consultative approach and ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideally some construction experience and an understanding of construction processes.
