French Language Educator

The French Language Educator plays a pivotal role in nurturing students' passion for the language and culture. By delivering lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements, the educator creates an engaging environment that fosters student growth.

Through well-structured activities, including text analysis, group discussions, and digital tools, educators ensure students develop a deep understanding of the language and its cultural context. Regular assessments and constructive feedback enable students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.

Collaboration with colleagues is essential in refining teaching strategies and maintaining open communication with families to support student success. St Clare's is committed to fostering teachers' professional excellence through ongoing professional development opportunities.

In this role, you may also have the opportunity to teach additional subjects such as Humanities and Social Sciences, English, Religious Education, or Physical Education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that promote cultural awareness and language immersion.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment through carefully planned activities, including text analysis, group discussions, and digital tools.
  • Regularly assess and provide constructive feedback to help students recognize their strengths and target areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching strategies that align with school goals and maintain open communication with families to support student success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching degree.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) Registration.
