About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated School Psychologist to join our team at the Department of Education, Western Australia. As a key member of our educational services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the wellbeing and educational outcomes of students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement school psychology services and programs to maximize student learning outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Consult with school leaders and staff to identify and address student needs.
  • Provide professional learning and development opportunities for staff on learning disorders and other relevant topics.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement trauma-informed practices and social-emotional learning programs.
Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights.
  • Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before commencing employment.
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
