Facilities Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Officer to fulfill key maintenance responsibilities within our organization. This casual position is ideal for an individual with good all-round trade knowledge and skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and grounds maintenance at a Residential Aged Care facility located in the Tweed Heads Area.

Key duties include:

• General repairs: installing or repairing basic hardware, patching and painting
• Grounds work: pressure cleaning pathways, maintaining lawns and existing gardens
• Preventative maintenance: schedule checks to ensure safe operation of tools and equipment

• Previous experience in a trade role, handyperson, maintenance, or DIY
• Knowledge of WHS requirements
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transport and a valid licence
• National Criminal History Check (must provide)
• Fully Covid-19 Vaccinated (must provide digital certificate)

This is a 37.5 hour per week position, Monday to Friday. Overtime pay and penalty rates may apply.
