Job Title: Operations Coordinator

About the Role:

This role is based within our branch network. The operations coordinator works with other teams across the network to allocate and manage drivers ensuring coordination and timely delivery, pick-up and exceptional customer service.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Allocating drivers to deliveries and pickups of equipment from customer sites and other branches within the network
  • Representing the brand in a professional manner at all times
  • Updating schedules
  • Managing vehicle fleet maintenance
  • Ensuring drivers are aware of safety information before each hire leaves the branch
  • Adhering to National Heavy Vehicle and CoR obligations
  • Ensuring allocations take into account required rest breaks
  • Managing administration tasks and processes

About You:

We are looking for individuals with previous experience in logistics or similar roles. Successful applicants have come from various backgrounds such as; Customer service, hire, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions including working autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes
  • Problem solving skills
